Residents complained that people pretending to be artists are defacing public property and making our beaches look ugly.

Residents complained to the media that they were not impressed with the graffiti on Provincial Electric Authority’s electric control boxes on Pattaya beach opposite Soi 6.

They said that the illustrations were in bad taste and that they defaced public property which the tax payers had to pay for.

One resident said, “Pattaya City is spending millions of baht to clean up and beautify the beach for the benefit of both the residents and the tourists, but these unethical people are spoiling the beauty and good image of our resort.”

Another resident said that if the wannabe artists want to show off their skills with this sort of crude drawings, they should do it somewhere.

Pattaya residents do not consider this to be art and asked the offenders to practice their crude drawings somewhere else.
