We know that the knowledge and application of the One Health concept can make our world safer from infectious disease threats.” noted Dr Vipat Kuruchittham, SEAOHUN Executive Director.

Kurt Glaubitz, General Manager, Corporate Affairs, Chevron Asia Pacific, said “We are proud to have supported the SEAOHUN Student Summit 2022 and help train the next generation of One Health professionals. This will help better prepare Southeast Asian nations to combat infectious disease outbreaks.”

Fifty-three participants from eight countries participated in the Summit. This included 41 participants from teams that won a regional video competition. They were from seven SEAOHUN Member countries: Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand (two teams), and Vietnam. In addition, there were five participants from Taiwan (TAOHUN). (NNT)
