BANGKOK, 10 September 2014  – A draft of the government policy statement has been submitted to the National Legislative Assembly before the address is made on Friday, according to Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu Krea-Ngam.

Mr. Wissanu said that the government policy statement draft, which contains 23 pages of details, has been published and submitted to the NLA on Wednesday.

He added that the content in the statement covers all areas of discussion while focusing on the administration of Thailand as well as the reforms and the reconciliation in the country.

Mr. Wissanu said that Gen. Prayuth Chan-ocha, the Prime Minister, will be the only one to make the address before the NLA on Friday and will handle some questions himself.

The Deputy Prime Minister went on to say that some ministers may take part in clarifying some points of concerns raised by NLA members.

Concerning the asset inspection of all Cabinet ministers, Mr. Wissanu said that the process should not be any problem for all members whose wealth has been inspected at least once already.
