Newly appointed United States Ambassador Robert F. Godec recently paid a courtesy call to Thai Foreign Affairs Minister Don Pramudwinai, during which he said he was committed to enhancing U.S. relations with Thailand.
Minister Don congratulated Ambassador Godec on his new appointment, with both sides discussing cooperation on climate change and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum.
Talks included preparations for APEC Economic Leaders’ Week in Bangkok, which will run from November 14-19.
The two sides also reaffirmed the importance of cooperation under Asean framework. (NNT)
