Pattaya Redemptorist School for the Blind organized the annual sports day 2022 to promote students’ good health via sports competitions.

Pattaya Redemptorist School for the Blind organized annual sports day 2022 to promote students to have sportsmanship, it’s not whether you win or lose.

On Saturday, Nov 12 at the sport field behind the Pattaya Redemptorist School for the Blind under the patronage of Her Royal highness Princess Mahachakri Siridhon, Chid Suknu, Director of the Pattaya Redemptorist School for the Blind, led teachers to welcome honorable guests participating in Sports Day 2022. Somkiat Jeerakamolsutthikul, Director of Operations Division, Central Department Store, honorably chaired the ceremony.



The Pattaya Redemptorist School for the Blind provided kindergarten and primary education. Apart from educating the students following the national curriculum, set by the Ministry of Education, the school teaches sports skills and sportsmanship to all students via sports competitions on Sports Day activity. The Sports Day activity started in the morning with a parade walking into the sports stadium. Then, the official opening ceremony was performed.



This year’s sports competitions were divided into 21 categories including throwing balls, walk-run, run race, relay race, sack race, goal ball, and tug-of-war which were competed by 2 teams of Green and Blue with the purpose to promote good health of students via sports games, and students sportsmanship, it’s not whether you win or lose. Besides, it was to build unity among students. The atmosphere of sports games was in a lot of fun throughout the day.
