Burapa Bike Week makes roaring return to Pattaya

Hundreds of big motorbikes roared through Pattaya Beach road down towards Walking Street.

Big motorcycles roared through Pattaya again for the first time in three years as Burapa Bike Week returned.

Bikers from across the world descended Feb. 10 on the Eastern National Indoor Sports Stadium complex on Soi Chaiyapruek 2 for the three-day “week”.



The main event came Saturday with the 3 p.m. motorcycle parade through Pattaya that began at the stadium, along Sukhumvit Road to North Road, on to Beach Road, through Walking Street and back up Thappraya Road to Jomtien Beach.

The 26th bike week featured exhibitions of various types of motorcycles, American classic cars, bicycles, car audio, motocross bikes, paramotors and small planes, and concerts by famous artists from overseas and Thailand.



The event also saw sale of food from all regions, auto and bike parts, accessories, safety equipment and business matching   .

Prasan Nikaji, president of the Burapa Motorcycle Club Association, said thousands of bikers from many countries across the world and Thailand joined the fun by the end of the weekend.

Former mayor Sonthaya Kunplome and mayor Poramet Ngampichet promote the Bangsaen Bike Week which will be held on November 24-25, 2023.
