New cabinet ministers take oath of allegiance before HM the King

BANGKOK, Nov 24 —   His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand appeared Sunday when two new ministers took their oath of allegiance before taking office .

His Majesty the King granted an audience to Prime Minister Gen Prayuth Chan-o-cha who led newly-appointed Deputy Minister of Finance Wisut Srisuphan  and Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives Amnuay Patise to give their oaths before assuming their posts.

The ceremony was held in a 14th floor meeting room at Siriraj Hospital where the king has been convalescing since last month.

The swearing in was first set for Friday, but His Majesty’s physicians agreed that the monarch was not well enough for that date and asked to move the ceremony to yesterday.
