Paramedics try to save the life of an unidentified foreign man after he crashed his motorbike on Pattaya 2nd Road.

In the early hours of June 12, an unidentified foreign national lost his life in a fatal motorcycle accident on Pattaya Second Road, located in the northern part of Pattaya.

At the accident site, the motionless body of a male foreign national, estimated to be between 30 and 35 years old, was found unconscious near a lamppost, surrounded by a pool of blood, with a damaged red Honda CB650 motorcycle lying on its side near a severely impacted and dislodged road sign.

Wirat Viratsalap, a Thappaya civil service official who witnessed the accident, said that the foreigner was riding the motorcycle at a high speed when he lost control, resulting in a collision with the road sign. The impact threw the rider into the air, leading to a fatal collision with a nearby lamppost.

The absence of personal identification documents on the deceased made it impossible for authorities to establish his identity. Police officers meticulously documented the scene and will look at Pattaya City’s CCTV cameras to gather additional evidence for the ongoing investigation.

The body of the deceased was transferred to Banglamung Hospital, where formal identification procedures and necessary arrangements for repatriation and religious rites were undertaken.
