BANGKOK, 9 December 2014 – The National Legislative Assembly is set to start visiting people across Thailand to hear their opinions regarding the country’s reform before the end of this year.
One of the NLA Vice Presidents, Mr. Peerasak Porjit said that members of the legislature will start a trip to meet with local residents and government officials in Mukdahan province during December 27 and 28.
Mr. Peerasak said that after Mukdahan, the legislature will continue the trip to Bueng Kan province to collect more opinions regarding the reform process.
He said that NLA members will also update and explain to locals what the legislature has been doing so far.
The 2nd Vice President of the NLA added that all information collected during the trips will be compiled and relayed to related ministries, state offices or departments so that problems that locals have been facing will receive officials’ attention and be solved.
