Mountain Shadow was the test today and we teed off 25 minutes early in fine weather conditions.  The course was in good shape, with much faster greens than its sister course Crystal Bay across the tracks.

Back in the clubhouse, after a round of just under 4 hours, welcomes went out to Michele Sancillo and Richard Kubicki, and a farewell to Richard Snellen.

Two flights today with the cut at handicap 20 plus a full bag of near pins to shoot for.

Kennith Madsen took the A Flight with a fine 40 points, four ahead of Takeshi Hakozaki who took second on a count back from Jan Lovgreen.  Leif Kirkgaard finished in fourth on a count back from Mark West, both with 35 points.

Richard Snellen topped the B Flight with 38 points while Mike Winfeld took second with 36, Ernst Hansen was third with 34 and Mick O’Connor completed the podium with a count back win over Steen Habersaat and Karl Beter for fourth.

We were off the first tee 45 minutes early today under sunny skies and with no wind at all.  The course was in fine condition with the greens a bit slower than at the recent members open.

Back in the clubhouse after a round of just over 4 hours, a welcome went out to Silvano Pizzato from Italy.

Two flights today with the cut made at handicap 20 and 4 pins to go for.

Kenneth Madsen continued his winning streak to take the A Flight with 37 points.  Silvano Pizzato placed second on 35 points and Leif Kirkgaard was one further back in third.

Dave Richardson topped the B Flight with 33 points, one up on Mogens Jensen in second while Mike Winfield took third with 31.
