Thailand’s Reform through people’s dialogue

BANGKOK 11 December 2014 – King Prajadhipok’s Institute (KPI) has organized a seminar entitled “Thailand’s Reform through Participatory Dialogue” to encourage every Thai citizen to take part in the national reform process.

The College of Politics and Governance, King Prajadhipok’s Institute (KPI), and students of the Advance Certificate Course in Strengthening Peaceful Society together organized a public dialogue entitled “Thailand’s Reform through Participatory Dialogue” . The seminar was participated by eminent members of the National Reform Council, members of alliance networks in both the government and the private sectors, civil society groups across Thailand, international organizations and relevant persons, who discussed and shared opinions on reforming Thailand.

General Ekkachai Srivilas, director of the institute’s peace and governance department and strengthened peaceful society program, presided over the opening and reiterated that the purpose of this seminar was to gather comments, advice and suggestions from the public and use them as a force to move the country forward.
