Parit said the MFP did not support the formation of the government against people’s will reflected in the May 14 election that most voters want to switch from the former ruling political camp to the opposition camp, which won the majority votes.

Move Forward Party’s list MP Parit Wacharasindhu has reiterated the party’s stance not to vote for Pheu Thai’s prime ministerial candidate. Its MPs’ decision to vote against the Pheu Thai candidate or to abstain from voting in the parliament is the same result, which is no support for the Pheu Thai candidate, he said.

His comment came after the announcement of the MFP’s secretary-general Chaithawat Tulathon after the party’s meeting on Tuesday.

He said the MFP did not support the formation of the government against people’s will reflected in the May 14 election that most voters want to switch from the former ruling political camp to the opposition camp, which won the majority votes.

Move Forward won the most seats, followed by the Pheu Thai party.
However, the Pheu Thai –led coalition allies include almost all of the former ruling parties, which is considered as going against people’s will, he said. (TNA)
