Pattaya, Thailand – Residents in Pattaya Rung Ruang Village reported to Pattaya authorities on Aug 27, of a foul smell emanating from a house in the village. Responding to the call, rescue workers went to the house in question where they discovered the decomposed body of a foreign man.
The deceased was later identified as Tim Jjhani Muhonen, a 54-year-old Finnish national. Initial findings suggested that he had been deceased for several days, with no apparent signs of foul play.
Notably, a Thai woman had visited the house a few days earlier and heard a voice advising her not to lock the door, so she did come back to visit him without knocking. After this visit, the foreign man hadn’t been seen, prompting worries that led to the involvement of the police and emergency services.
