The Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs donated funds to support humanitarian assistance following the floods in Libya.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara, on behalf of the Royal Thai Government, on Monday presented a donation of 1.5 million Thai baht to Mr. Ashoor Salem Ashoor Omran, Chargé d’affaires a.i., Embassy of the State of Libya, Bangkok, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.
The donation is to be utilised in humanitarian assistance for all those affected by the devastating floods in the northeast of the State of Libya, especially in the city of Derna, and constitutes a gesture of the Kingdom of Thailand’s solidarity with the Government and the people of State of Libya as a true friend in the time of need.
