More than 70 enthusiastic Rotarians and guests gathered at Flam’s Flammekueche on a Saturday Oct 14, evening, ready for a night filled with camaraderie, music, and generous giving. The occasion, aptly named the Rotary Oktoberfest, was organized by the Rotary Club of Jomtien-Pattaya, promising an evening of entertainment for a good cause.

The venue proved to be an ideal setting for the festivities. Nestled next to the White Jumbo Jet in the Runway Market on Second Road, it offered a charming Beer Garden atmosphere. The event kicked off with the melodic tunes of Rolf Rüegg and Rose Weston, serenading the attendees and setting a lively tone for the night. Laughter and merriment echoed through the venue as participants enjoyed the musical interlude.

Delightful aromas filled the air as the renowned Flammkuchen, a French specialty, kept arriving, pleasing the palates of the revellers. Thai cuisine was in abundance, complemented by a flowing supply of beer, creating a perfect blend of flavours for everyone to savour.

Roland Gobert, proprietor of Flam’s, contributed to the anticipation by donating an impressive 50 raffle prizes, adding an element of suspense and surprise. Thanawat Suansuk and Nutsara Duangsri together with the Pattaya Mail team played a vital role in the success of the evening, assisting with the sale of raffle tickets that added an extra layer of excitement to the event.
