Re: Shops block off parking spaces (PM Mailbag Friday, 09 January 2015) – As a pedestrian in Jomtien, I have a hard time feeling very sorry for you and your problem parking your car. If I want to go outside Jomtien, I either walk or take a songthaew or a motorcycle taxi.
Pattaya and Jomtien have way too many cars. And most people driving a car find it very unfair if they can not park right outside wherever they are going.
When it comes to Jomtien Soi 7, I think it should be closed off completely to cars and busses. This soi is hardly more than 100 meters long. Get out of your car and get a little exercise.
You don’t really need a car in Pattaya, believe me. Most cars in Pattaya are just for the show off anyway.
