Chonburi non-formal education panel sets membership

Chonburi’s Non-Formal Education Board gained new members as it prepared to develop programs for alternative education programs and educational uses for residents’ spare time.

The board is comprised of the governor and provincial agricultural, public health, labor, social-development officials; eight people selected by the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization and five members of the public.

Now staffed, the board can give advice and cooperatively develop the non-formal and free-time education programs cooperatively with other organizations.

Board director Kritchai Arunrat reported the budget available for the year and explained focus points that will allow the board to develop programs allowing residents to study outside of a formal school setting.
