Foreign Minister meets released Thai hostages in Israel

Deputy Prime minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs welcomed the fourth batch of released hostages last night who just arrived at Al Shamir Medical Center and congratulated them for freedom and safety, and hope they would be able to return to Thailand soon.

Thai Foreign Minister Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara welcomed two more Thai hostages released under a temporary truce between Israel and Hamas.

The two Thai workers joined the group of 17 hostages freed earlier. They gave moral support to the newcomers. So far, 19 Thai hostages have been released from the Gaza Strip. Thirteen more remain in captivity.

The Thai foreign minister and his Israeli counterpart Eli Cohen visited Thai released captives at Al Shamir Med Center. The minister gave moral support and affirmation to repatriate those who are fit to travel back to Thailand at the earliest opportunity to reunite with their families.



Israeli Foreign Minister assured good care for the Thai workers and inquired about their needs, emphasizing the importance of Thai labor for Israel’s agriculture sector.

One worker asked if they could return to work once the situation stabilized, and the Israeli Minister welcomed them, stating that Israel is their second home. (TNA)
