Google, Microsoft, and Tesla have never negotiated the electricity price with the Thai government, while clean energy and green energy are the main concerns and have been reassured by the Thai government, said a government spokesperson Chai Wacharoke.
The spokesman on Wednesday clarified that Google, Microsoft, and Tesla had never negotiated with the Thai government to reduce electricity prices before deciding to invest in Thailand.
The most important condition for these global companies is clean energy for production. The issue of climate change and global warming has been challenging the world; thus, the Thai government is ready to support these companies with clean energy and green energy.
Moreover, the Thai government has expressed sincerity in promoting clean energy with projects such as floating solar cells on the waters above dams nationwide, which have the potential to supply more than 10,000 megawatts of total electricity, as well as a project to purchase 400 megawatts of hydropower from Laos.
