Re: Gov’t working to boost tourism, Thai PM says (PM Sunday, 25 January 2015) – Just where are you going to get the tourists to use these facilities? With the Baht being strong and the exchange rate effecting foreign currencies surely THIS is what is halting the tourist trade. Europeans especially are finding locations closer to home. Not only is the air fare less expensive, but also they do not have the added deterrent of being hassled by a bias police force. Please address the issues in hand, not building attractions that are readily available nearer to home. Surely the exchange rate is imperative to Thailand’s tourist industry.
