A hotel employee distraught over his girlfriend ending their relationship killed her in Naklua before turning the gun on himself.
The bodies of Surachai Umnuay, 29, and Waramporn Janthaphan, 39, were found Feb. 2 at the Kanyanath Apartment on Soi Nongyai 6 by Waramporn’s sister.
Surachai, who worked at the Royal Cliff Hotels Group, reportedly had gone to see Waramporn, a dentist assistant in at a Third Road clinic, to try and reconcile.
When she refused, he shot her in the forehead and then shot himself in the temple.
