Re: Strong baht affecting tourism (PM Mailbag Friday, 06 February 2015) – The exchange rate has a very minor impact on tourism, IMO. If the baht was worth 10% less that would only mean much to people who were marginally able to come here to begin with. Those who really can’t afford to be here don’t contribute all that much to the tourism industry and the overall wealth of the economy as a whole.
