Tourists flock to admire the spectacular blooming of the Wild Himalayan Cherry trees at Phu Lom Lo in Phistsanulok province.
Also known in Thai as Nang Phaya Sua Krong, the flowers have been captivating visitors, offering a picturesque sight on the 480-acre area of Phu Lom Lo. The blooming Wild Himalayan Cherry trees will turn the mountainside and valley into a sea of pink from January to February.
Situated within the Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park, the mountain range spans across three provinces: Phitsanulok, Loei, and Phetchabun, with its highest peak reaching 1,542 meters above sea level.
To ensure the safety of tourists, private vehicles are not allowed to ascend Phu Loam Lo. Instead, community-owned vehicles are available for hire, coordinated through the Ban Rong Kla Tourism Service Center.
The cost is 1,000 baht per vehicle, accommodating up to 10 people, with a viewing time of no more than 3 hours. (TNA)
