Prime Minister’s Office Minister Puangpet Chunlaiad, along with her team, visited the Lao Nok Yung Village Fund in Dongmaifai subdistrict, Sakon Nakhon province. The delegation was warmly received by the provincial governor and the fund’s management team.
During the visit, Puangpet was briefed on the Village Fund’s ongoing work, which is recognized for its efficient and successful management. The fund, governed by a 9-member committee, ensures effective administration and project execution. From its inception with 69 members, the fund has expanded to 268 members.
An impressive success of the fund has been its community shop project, which was initiated with a budget of 1,200,000 baht. As of the end of 2023, the fund has a circulating capital of 2,110,774.55 baht and maintains a bank balance of 1,081,616.90 baht.
Recognizing the fund’s positive impact on its members and the local community, Minister Puangpet commended the committee members for their effective management. She also expressed support for the fund’s continued development and its contribution to improving life in the area. (NNT)
