‘69th Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair’ at QSNCC February21-25

The fair is expected to welcome over 40,000 visitors worldwide, generating more than 3.3 billion Baht in trade value.

Director-General of the Department of International Trade Promotion, Mr. Phusit Ratanakul Sereroengrit, said the fair this year will play a pivotal role in driving Thailand’s economy, as it is one of the world’s top 5 global gems and jewelry trade fairs.

He added that the gems and jewelry industry engages nearly 800,000 individuals across the supply chain. The Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair is considered an essential mechanism in reinforcing Thailand’s gems and jewelry industry and highlighting the country’s standing as the world’s leading gems and jewelry hub.



Director of the Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand, Mr. Sumed Prasongpongchai, stated that Bangkok Gems serves as a pivotal meeting point for global gem and jewelry traders. This year, the event will feature over 2,500 booths from more than 1,100 exhibitors, both local and international.

The fair is expected to welcome over 40,000 visitors worldwide, generating more than 3.3 billion Baht in trade value.



In 2023, the gem and jewelry sector secured the 3rd position in Thailand’s overall exports, with a total export value of 14.787 Billion USD, marking a significant 9.61% increase.

The 69th edition of Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair will take place between 21 and 25 February, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok. (NNT)
