Thai Airways cancels two flights between Bkk and Kathmandu due to closure of airport in Nepal

BANGKOK, 5 March 2015 – Thai Airways International has cancelled two flights between Bangkok and Kathmandu today due to a temporary closure of Tribhuvan International Airport in the Nepalese capital.

The closure of the airport came after a Turkish Airlines plane had skidded of the runway on Wednesday morning in dense fog.

The two THAI flights cancelled today are TG 319 Bangkok-Kathmandu and TG 320 Kathmandu to Bangkok. The national flag carrier has already notified the flight cancellation to all passengers and reserved new seats for them in the next flights.
