Four hundred Sattahip students were tested for drugs as part of the district’s campaign against illegal narcotics.
Registrar Tanawut Sritalkaew oversaw the March 2 “Non-Formal Education (NFE) Students Away From Drugs” event at the Strength Training Center.
NFE Center Director Phairat Nuangket said drugs are a national problem and youths are drawn to them out of a desire for experimentation. The Sattahip Court arranged the program to disseminate knowledge about narcotics and test the urine of participating students. Results were not released.
