‘DORAEMON RUN 2024 Thailand’ event at Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal Station

The first race of this series took place at the Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal Station, celebrating over four decades of the beloved Doraemon cartoon’s broadcast in Thailand, which has amassed a dedicated fan base over the years.

Prime Minister’s Office Minister Puangpetch Chunla-ead recently inaugurated the DORAEMON RUN 2024 Thailand event organized by MCOT Public Company Limited on March 24. The first race of this series took place at the Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal Station, celebrating over four decades of the beloved Doraemon cartoon’s broadcast in Thailand, which has amassed a dedicated fan base over the years.



The ceremony was attended by prominent figures, including the Assistant Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, the Advisor to the Prime Minister’s Office Minister, and Tatsushi Nishioka, the Ambassador of Japan to Thailand, among others.

The DORAEMON RUN 2024, which attracted more than 4,000 participants, is part of a series planned to occur in four additional locations across the country, including Chonburi (Pattaya) on May 11, Nakhon Ratchasima on July 14, Phuket on Sep 15, and Chiang Mai on Nov 23. The run both promotes physical fitness among Thais and serves as a platform for families to spend quality time together, with many attendees bringing their children and youths to participate. (NNT)
