The 19th edition of the eagerly awaited annual Pattaya Sports Club Charity Classic golf tournament was held on March 18, 2015 at the Burapha Golf Resort.  This event takes weeks of planning and preparation and Mark West, the PSC Golf Chairman, worked tirelessly to make this a most successful event, which judging by the comments of those playing he succeeded in doing big time.

The competition format was a 2-person better-ball stableford event with prizes on every hole and also for the top 10 pairs.  It wasn’t long after the official announcement that the list was full and Mark had to increase the field to 184 and yet there was still a sizeable waiting list.

In addition to the numerous awards on offer on the course, there was also a raffle with many great prizes, including green fees from the EGA golf courses, top of the range golf clubs from Pattaya City Golf, a golf carry bag from Pattana Golf Club, a 1-year membership at Pleasant Valley Golf Course, and a Cambodia trip to the Angkor Hotel & Golf Resort with 2 night’s stay for 2 people plus 2 rounds of golf each, plus many more.  There was also a 60/40 split for the final raffle ticket drawn.

Singha Corp came through once again with tremendous support for this event and provided Sanvo Sports energy drinks to everyone prior to teeing off, as well as providing golf and shoe bags to the winners and umbrellas to the other top 10 finishers.  Another great supporter of this event was Chris Balzli of Sinto Shirts who provided 150 shirts free of charge.
