Gen. Prayut discusses bilateral collaboration with Indian PM’s national security advisor

BANGKOK, 2 April 2015 – The Prime Minister has discussed various collaborative issues with the national security advisor to the Indian Premier. 

Prime Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha on Wednesday welcomed Mr. Ajit Docal, the national security advisor to the Prime Minister of India, who is on an official visit to Thailand during April 1 and 2.

According to Government spokesman Yongyuth Mayalarp, Gen. Prayut raised the issue of Thailand’s political and economic development and reform initiatives, which the government has hoped will help the country achieve sustainable democracy.

In addition, the Thai Premier assured Thailand’s readiness to expand the collaboration with India in various areas, including the air transportation routes between major cities of the two countries. He also expressed support to the Thailand-India Joint Commission’s 7th ministerial meeting, which is scheduled to discuss the broadening of bilateral collaboration.
