Leading local real-estate companies Matrix Development and the Nova Group held a celebratory party and media day on March 20 to officially open the showroom of the two developers’ groundbreaking joint new project, The Orient Jomtien Resort & Spa.
Situated in Soi Wat Boonkanjanaram in Jomtien, Pattaya, The Orient Jomtien will comprise of three low-rise condominium buildings on a 7,972 square metre plot of land. The development will feature 526 individual units, including studio, one bedroom and two bedroom condos, ranging from 25 square metres for studio, 35 square metres for one bedroom and 70 square metres for two bedroom units.
Developers (l-r) Raz Shai, Rony Fineman and Miki Haim raise a toast during the opening of The Orient Jomtien Resort & Spa showrooms on March 20.
The developers say that Orient Jomtien will exhibit a unique charm with its rich architecture and offer a sense of genteel sophistication.
“We decided with this project that we wanted to give it a more homely feel and felt that a classic Oriental styled design was the way to go,” said Matrix Managing Director Miki Haim in an interview with Pattaya Mail TV.
“This is mainly a residential part of Jomtien and we think that buyers in this area are predominantly looking for a minimum of one bedroom so we have restricted the number of studios in the development to just a few units,” he added.
The Orient Jomtien boasts a number of amenities to enhance the comfort of its residents. An expansive swimming pool area is augmented by a luxury spa on the ground floor. Additional features include a state-of-the-art fitness centre, 24-hour reception desk, WIFI Internet throughout the premises, underground car parking and optional housekeeping service.
Joint developer Rony Fineman, CEO of the Nova Group, commented: “The challenge was coming up with a project that fits peoples’ needs. Matrix have already done the jungle lagoon pool complexes and we at Nova have done the high-rises, so together we came up with this colonial style development that even I, myself, have fallen in love with.
The project will feature three low-rise condominium buildings and 526 individual units.
“In the current economic climate we have to recognise that value for money is the key deciding factor for many buyers and with the Orient we have really come up with something special at a great price and that we feel will lead to its success. Some of our fully furnished 1-bed apartments start from as little as 1.4 million baht.”
Units will be stylishly furnished to create a classic yet homely feel for residents.
Nova and Matrix say that The Orient Jomtien is suitable as an expatriate holiday or retirement home and is also ideal for first time investors, with on-site rental and resale management services to look after owners’ interests. Every unit is freehold, with 0% interest on financing over the construction period. Also, flexible payment terms can be tailored to suit each buyer’s needs.
