The latest edition of DestinAsian has announced that Bangkok won the DestinAsian Readers’ Choice Award for the ‘Best City’ in the Asia-Pacific region for 2024, followed by Tokyo, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Hong Kong. This marks the fourth time Bangkok has received this recognition.
DestinAsian’s Readers’ Choice Awards annually gives its readers the chance to cast their votes and recognize the best destinations in the Asia-Pacific region under various categories, including best cities, islands, hotels and resorts, airlines, airports, and cruise lines. Under the ‘Best Island’ category, Thailand’s Phuket and Koh Samui rank the third and the fourth, respectively. As for aviation, Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi airport was named the second in the Best Airport category, and Thai Airways International (THAI) placed third in the Best Airline category. (PRD)
