Thai aviation company M-Landarch, under the leadership of CEO Dhanee Dharapak, is set to establish EZY Airlines, targeting affluent local travelers in Thailand’s southern region. Founded in 2005, M-Landarch specializes in the sale of aviation software and Cessna aircraft, reporting a revenue of 296 million baht and a 13 million baht net profit last year. The company is now looking to secure an additional 200 million baht to register EZY Airlines as a new entity.
Positioned as a “flying shuttle bus,” EZY Airlines will streamline operations by initially employing only two pilots and forgoing onboard services such as flight attendants and meals. The airline has already secured an air operator license from the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand and is working towards receiving an air operator certificate by July after completing the necessary audits.
EZY Airlines plans to launch charter services from Hat Yai airport in October and scheduled flights by July 2025 to various destinations including Phuket, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Surat Thani, and Betong in Yala. Ticket prices are projected to range between 1,900 and 3,900 baht, depending on the destination.
By 2026, the airline expects to expand its fleet to five aircraft, growing to nine by 2028, with an aim to include Hua Hin in its second phase of expansion. The airline will purchase the first five aircraft outright, while subsequent acquisitions will be financed through strategic partnerships with other investors. (NNT)
