Two people were hurt when an ice truck’s brakes reportedly failed causing it to ram into the back of a tour bus in Pattaya.
Surat Thai-oun, the 42-year-old driver of the Racha Ltd. ice truck, and passenger Worachai Sripanoun, 47, both sustained abdominal injuries with Surat breaking a leg. They were pinned in the truck and had to be cut out.
No one on the Golden Thai Travels Ltd. bus was hurt. Wanchai Noomeim, 45, a driver of a Mitsubishi Lancer also escaped injury after the ice truck clipped his vehicle.
Police said Surat reported that the brakes on his ice truck failed.
