PM leaves for Asian-African Conference in Jakarta, Indonesia

BANGKOK, 22 April 2015, Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha and his entourage, which include Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs General Thanasak Patimaprakorn and Government Spokesperson Dr. Yongyuth Mayalarp , have arrived in Jakarta, Indonesia, to attend the Asian-African Conference.

The Government Spokesperson has told the media that Thailand will forge cordial relations with the international community, especially in the aspect of arts and culture with ASEAN member nations and African countries.

According to Dr. Yongyuth, Thailand will propose the implementation of His Majesty the King’s sufficiency economy in various development projects.

The spokesperson also said the Prime Minister would seek to secure bilateral deals with Indonesian President Joko Widodo on fisheries cooperation and rubber,as well as discussing investment opportunities with Mozambique President Filipe Nyusi.
