The Ministry of Culture has announced the hosting of the International Ramayana Festival from July 12-15 as part of the celebrations for His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary on July 28. The festival, reflecting the King’s dedication to the preservation of Thai cultural heritage, will take place across three prominent locations in Bangkok, including the Thailand Cultural Center, Sanam Luang ceremonial ground, and ICONSIAM.

According to Minister of Culture Sudawan Wangsuphakijkosol, the event highlights the rich narrative of the Ramayana through unique interpretations from eight participating countries: India, Cambodia, Myanmar, Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand.
