PSC Golf from Siam Country Resort
Tuesday, April 14, Eastern Star – Stableford
After our good experience at Eastern Star the previous week, we went in the Songkran week on Tuesday again to Eastern Star. The conditions were perfect and the course even better than on our last visit.
Sam Gettinby (h/cap 25) was today by far the best with 38 stableford points. The battle for second was thrilling between Kurt Persson (28), Tom Murray (13) and Willem Lasonder (20), with Willem prevailing in the end on a count back after all scored 32 points.
Near pins went to Sam Gettinby (3) and Willem Lasonder.
Thursday, April 16, Phoenix – Stableford
On Thursday we went to Phoenix and enjoyed a warm day on a beautiful course. We were allocted the Lake and Ocean nines and Ocean, especially, is always nice to play.

Paul Davies (h/cap 31) confirmed his good form of the last few weeks and was the winner today with 38 points. Willem Lasonder took the runner up spot with 37 points, beating Martin Hayes (16) on the count back.
Near pins were claimed by Neil Harvey (2) times and Martin Hayes.
Note: Siam Country Resort, Restaurant & Bar is located just off Siam Country Club Rd, after going under the arch past the 7/11, turn right after 50 meters, with the venue on the left another 200 meters along. Golf from here is generally played on Tuesday & Thursday, with the Resort hosting prompt presentations on both days.
