Train trips to explore Thailand in July-August

The July program includes overnight trips by KiHa, a refurbished Japanese train, composed of four routes.

The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) has announced a program of train trips between July and August 2024. The program provides six routes, both overnight and one-day trips.

The July program includes overnight trips by KiHa, a refurbished Japanese train, composed of four routes, as follows:
– The Bangkok-Ratchaburi route, from 6 to 7 July 2024;
– The Bangkok-Suan Son Pradipat Beach in Prachuap Khiri Khan, 13-14 July;
– The Bangkok-Suphanburi route, 20-21 July;
– The Bangkok-Prachinburi route, 27-28 July.



The August program includes two one-day trips:
– Bangkok-Chachoengsao, on 12 August, by the special steam locomotive;
– Bangkok-Kanchanaburi, on 17 August, by the Royal Blossom train, a refurbishment of second-hand trains, acquired from the Hokkaido Railway Company in Japan.
