An elderly British man was found dead in his Pattaya apartment.
Terence Michael Sims, 66, was found lying face down on the bathroom of his eighth floor apartment at the PAD Condominium on Sukhumvit Soi 42. Police found injuries on the right side of his face and he was bleeding from the nose and mouth. He also had injuries to his head and police estimated that he was dead for at least 12 hours.
The room was investigated and no belongings were believed to be missing.
Building manager William Alexander, 70, said Sims had been staying there for more than three years. He usually drank with foreign friends at a bar downstairs, but his mates became concerned when he did not show today.
Foul play is not suspected, but the body was sent to the Forensic Institute to determine the cause of death.
