The next meeting of the Pattaya City Expats Club (PCEC) will be on Sunday, May 3. Everyone is warmly welcome. Members of Pattaya Players theatrical group will present the “History and Development of Pattaya Players” plus present two short “acts” for audience enjoyment. The Club meets every Sunday morning at the Tavern by the Sea Restaurant located on the north end of Beach Road (part of the Amari Orchid Resort). The program starts at 10:30 a.m. with a buffet breakfast available from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

The Pattaya Rugby Festival – Chris Kays Memorial Rugby Tournament 2015 kicks off at the Horseshoe Point Resort on Saturday 2nd May and wraps up on Sunday 3rd May. Supporters are more than welcome to come along and cheer the players on. Entrance is free to all. Food and refreshments will be available throughout the duration of the tournament. The Alangkarn Lantern Festival is currently being held until May 31, 2015. For the past 28 years the Samaritans of Thailand have been providing confidential crisis intervention services over the telephone. The English-speaking unit, Samaritans English Help Line operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide support to the expatriate community. English-speaking staff, trained in crisis intervention will provide active, non-judgmental and empathetic listening services on the phone.
