A field wracked by Songkran defectors took on the often forgiving Bangpra and the local monkeys. Eddy ‘the Eagle’ Beilby was the toast of the day and the only player to better his handicap. Eddy’s 37 points was one clear of Mike Allidi.

Wednesday, April 22, Khao Kheow – Stableford
1st Ian Pickles (15) 37pts
2nd Nick Odnoral (16) 36pts

The yellow tees and the tough layout of Khao Kheow combined to keep the stableford totals modest on the day. But one man did manage to better his handicap – Ian Pickles was the man of the match with 37 points. Ian was followed up the podium steps by Jimmy ‘two shots’ Elphick who, by a twist of irony, was two shots adrift.
Friday, April 24, Crystal Bay – Stableford
1st Tore Eliassen (20) 37pts
2nd Matt Doyle (13) 36pts
Nothing new to report here, the often rumored seldom seen Co. Offaly gang member Matt Doyle succumbed to Tore ‘the Viking’ Eliassen by a stroke, as Tore was the only player to better his handicap with 37 points.
