CHANTHABURI, 11 May 2015 – More than 20 fruit farms in Chanthaburi province are now open for tourist visits during this fruit season, says a provincial official.

Chanthaburi Provincial Public Relations Official Thanet Tearranan has revealed that fruits such as Long Kong, Durian, Rambutan, and Mangosteens may be delayed or may bear less produce due to changes in climate.

Despite this possible delay, farmers have decided to open their gardens for tourists to visit, harvest, and even taste fresh fruits in an “all you can eat” manner, straight from the trees at the price of 199 baht per person.

About 20 gardens are now open to the public in many subdistricts of Chanthaburi province. Interested persons can contact the Chanthaburi Provincial Agricultural Office tel 039-322158 for more information.
