BANGKOK, Thailand – The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for heavy to very heavy rainfall in parts of Northern, Northeastern, and Western Southern Thailand. Citizens are advised to remain alert for possible flash floods and forest runoff, especially in hilly areas, near water flow paths, and low-lying regions. The department also warns of strong gusty winds due to the moderately strong southwest monsoon affecting the Andaman Sea, Thailand, and the Gulf of Thailand.
