PSC Golf from Siam Country Resort
Tuesday, May 5, Eastern Star – Stableford
It was a nice sunny and warm Tuesday at Eastern Star and the course was in a good condition despite the dryness. Most of us suffered from the heat and were happy when the round was finished.
Player of the day was Jonathan Pratt (h/cap 10) who had no problems with the temperatures and ended up with an excellent score of 40 points. Willem Lasonder (20) came in second with a modest score of 32.

Thursday, May 7, Bangpra – Stableford
Bangpra was our venue for Thursday. It was a long time since we last played here and we took the advantage of a reasonable green fee for a late tee-time. The course was in a reasonable condition, but the greens were too bumpy. We were lucky with the weather, the thunderstorms just drifted away from us.
In a reversal of Tuesday’s result, the winner today was Willem Lasonder with 35 stableford points and second was Jonathan Pratt with 32.
The near pins went to Jonathan Pratt, Tony Wakeling and Willem Lasonder.
Note: Siam Country Resort, Restaurant & Bar is located just off Siam Country Club Rd, after going under the arch past the 7/11, turn right after 50 meters, with the venue on the left another 200 meters along. Golf from here is generally played on Tuesday & Thursday, with the Resort hosting prompt presentations on both days.
