BANGKOK, 15 May 2015 – The Constitution Drafting Committee (CDC) is hosting the 3rd public forum in Phetchabun Province today to publicize knowledge on the draft constitution and gauge people’s opinions on the charter.
Nine other similar forums will also be arranged nationwide with the help of the extraordinary committee on public participation and opinions panel of the National Reform Council. People will be made aware of newly included clauses and invited to express their views and suggestions on the draft charter.
The move is also said to promote people’s roles as owners of the constitution. The event is taking place at Phetchabun Rajabhat University from 9.15 hrs onward.
More than 1,400 people, including CDC members, in the province are expected to join the forum.
