The Deputy Permanent Secretary extended the Ministry’s congratulations to the government and the people of Mexico, as well as congratulated for their first female President’s assumption this October, which coincide with a similar period of the Thai female Prime Minister’s assumption.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Paisan Rupanichkij, represented the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to attend the celebration event of the 214th anniversary of Mexico’s Independence Day at the Athenee Hotel, Bangkok on 13 September.

On this occasion, the Deputy Permanent Secretary extended the Ministry’s congratulations to the government and the people of Mexico, as well as congratulated for their first female President’s assumption this October, which coincide with a similar period of the Thai female Prime Minister’s assumption. In addition, he also emphasized Thailand’s commitment to further strengthening relations between Thailand and Mexico, as the two countries are set to mark the 50th anniversary of their diplomatic relations in 2025.
