BANGKOK, Thailand – Experience Bangkok Car Free 2024 with an exciting new event, Street Diet on Banthat Thong Road! From 4:00 PM to midnight on September 21-22, this creative street event will transform the area by reducing car traffic and expanding pedestrian space, offering a vibrant walking experience for everyone.

Bangkok’s public bike-sharing services—Anywheel, Pun Pun, and Pan Dai—are supporting the event by providing over 300 bicycles for free use, promoting cycling as a sustainable form of transport. Visitors can pick up their free cycling passes by collecting codes at three designated locations:

  1. Chulalongkorn University Centenary Park (Soi Chula 20, Banthat Thong Road)
  2. BTS National Stadium Station
  3. Samyan Mitrtown

This event not only encourages walking and cycling but also provides convenient access via public transportation, making it easier to join in the fun and reduce your carbon footprint.
