BANGKOK, Thailand – A water expert from TEAM Group, Chawalit Chanthararat, announced on Sept. 29, that two storms currently forming in the western Pacific Ocean will not affect Thailand’s weather.

The two storms are:

On Sept. 30, Krathon is predicted to intensify into a Category 4 typhoon, bringing severe rain and strong winds to northern Philippines. Between Oct. 1 and 2, it will affect Taiwan with heavy rainfall and strong winds. From Oct. 2 to 3, it will weaken into a Category 2 typhoon, moving northeast. By Oct. 4 and 5, it will further weaken into a Category 1 typhoon, making landfall in South Korea and causing heavy rain.
