On Friday 15th May the Primary Student Council decided to organise an event to raise funds and awareness for the people of Nepal after the terrible earthquake.

Student council organised for everyone to wear red and “Be Part of The Heart” photo to show that we are thinking of everyone in Nepal.

They also organised a bake sale and a whole afternoon of fun games and activities for all of primary to enjoy. For example, decorate a balloon, blind football, flag making, parachute games, and even write your name in Braille – to name just a few. Even a bit of rain couldn’t spoil the fun.

Students raised over 19,000 baht for the Nepal earthquake appeal.Students raised over 19,000 baht for the Nepal earthquake appeal.

A special big thank to Primary Student Council members, Y3NR and Y5DB who helped run activities, Mrs Frew, parents and children who donated cakes to sell, the wonderful team at the coffee shop who donated lots of yummy chocolates, and most of all everyone for being so generous and raising the grand total to 19710 baht!

A fantastic effort. Well done everyone, from Primary Student Council, Miss Nele and Miss Deborah.
