Bangkok receives ‘Yamaha Small Helmets for Society’ for student safety

Chadchart received 500 helmets under the “Yamaha Small Helmets for Society” initiative from Pongstorn Ueamongkolchai, CEO of Thai Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Governor of Bangkok, Chadchart Sittipunt, received 500 helmets under the “Yamaha Small Helmets for Society” initiative from Pongstorn Ueamongkolchai, CEO of Thai Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. on October 8. The helmets, valued at 175,000 baht, will be distributed to Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) schools to enhance the safety of students.

The handover ceremony took place at Rattanakosin Hall, Bangkok City Hall (Sao Chingcha), in the presence of Sanon Wangsrangboon, Deputy Governor of Bangkok, Mr. Hidehiko Takagi, Executive Vice President of Thai Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., along with BMA Traffic and Transport Department executives and company officials.

This initiative aims to promote road safety and provide students with proper protective gear, contributing to accident prevention efforts for young motorbike passengers across Bangkok.


The helmets, valued at 175,000 baht, will be distributed to Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) schools to enhance the safety of students.
